Florida Electrical Contractors Renewal Package

After meeting their initial renewal requirement, all Florida registered and certified electrical licensed contractors must complete 11 CE credit hours before the end of each subsequent two-year renewal period. This requirement includes:

  1. 1 Hour – Occupational Safety and Health Act and Workers Compensation for Electrical Contractors (OSHA Basics & Workers Compensation) (WC)
  2. 1 Hour – Construction Industry Safety Programs (WPS)
  3. 1 Hour – Cash Flow Management in the Construction Industry (BSP)
  4. 1 Hour – Laws and Rules: Florida Administrative Code 61G6, Chapter 489, Part II (L & R)
  5. 1 Hour – Advanced Electrical 6th Edition (ADV)
  6. 2 Hours – False Alarm Prevention (FA)
  7. 4 Hours – 2017 National Electrical Code Update and Changes from 2014 (Tech)

 

Renewal Deadline

Licenses expire August 31st every even year.

Reporting of Class Completion

Education Pathways, LLC will notify the Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR) that the license holder has completed the class. Please allow five days for your DBPR account to update.
