Continuing Education Requirements for Renewal

After meeting their initial renewal requirement, all Florida real estate license holders must complete 14 CE credit hours before the end of each subsequent two-year renewal period. This requirement includes:

  • 3 hours of Florida core law
  • 3 hours of real estate ethics and business practices
  • 8 hours of elective specialty education

 

Renewal Deadline

Every 2 years by either March 31st or September 30th, based on their license expiration date.

Information on Final Exams

The final exam consists of 30 questions, and to meet your CE requirement, you must achieve a minimum score of 80% on the course final exam. Additionally, you are permitted to make five attempts.
