Oklahoma resident sales associates, broker associates, and brokers complete 30 hours of OREC-approved continuing education during each 3-year license cycle, then submit renewal through the OREC License Portal. Non-resident licensees complete 8 hours instead.
Renewal and CE deadline dates run on each licensee’s individual 3-year cycle rather than one shared statewide date. Licenses not renewed on time move to Lapsed status — CE completed within a year of expiration can still be used to renew, but don’t wait until your deadline to start.

Resident brokers complete a 15-hour Broker-in-Charge course and 6 hours of Contracts and Forms instead.
OREC’s published continuing education requirements do not describe a carryover allowance. Confirm current rules with OREC before assuming unused hours roll forward.
Your license moves to Lapsed status. If you complete continuing education within one year of the expiration date, you can still renew through the OREC License Portal.
