A newly elected or appointed residential condominium director should complete a Division-administered or Division-approved condominium board member education curriculum that is at least 4 hours long.
A newly elected or appointed HOA director should complete the department-approved education curriculum for new HOA directors within 90 days.
The requirement is based on association size: at least 4 hours for fewer than 2,500 parcels and at least 8 hours for 2,500 parcels or more.
Yes. Beginning one year after certification, the director must complete at least 1 hour annually relating to recent changes in Chapter 718 and the related administrative rules.
